Alphonse Capone’s legend extends beyond America and into Mexico. The notorious
bootlegger, gambler and gangster built what was the first hotel in Puerto
Penasco in the late 1920’s, now called The Posada La Roca, in the old port.
“Scarface” was drawn to Puerto Penasco for its pristine beauty, fishing,
drinking and beautiful women. We share this affection for Rocky Point and for
great pizza and drinks and we at Al Capone’s are happy to share it with you. In
Capone’s dying breath he said “I should have opened a brewery, a Mongolian grill and a bowling alley …” |
